Summary of the Grant Guidelines
Grant applications are available twice a year to all non-profit agencies and government agencies established as public charities serving Routt County special needs, at-risk, and/or low income youth, ages 0 - 18 years old (does not include prenatal). YAP's goal is to reach out and reflect the entire County - North Routt, South Routt and Hayden, as well as agencies located in Steamboat Springs. Most grants fall in the category of the "Standard Grant," ranging from one thousand to five thousand dollars. The High Impact Grant of five thousand to ten thousand dollars is reserved for exceptional projects. YAP provides on-site visits to the grantee agencies for the purposes of on-going agency support.
